Gratitude

Often times we sit and we ponder up on things that we have no control over but when you start to look at your life in recovery, God gives you small bits and bits back piece by piece. It’s what you do with those bits that are the outcome of who you are becomes. You can use those bits and pieces to stay by yourself and be silent or you can use those pieces to be outlandish and loud. I recover out loud and I am so grateful for God giving me my life back my children back my grandchildren, and hopefully great grandchildren. I’ll get to see them too, but this has been a journey up on reprise that has taken me upon a journey that I never thought that I would ever have to go and me being who I am. I’m a big person family they get on my nerves true enough, but I love my family and I keep trying to get them to understand and see for who I am today instead of who I was with a pipe in my mouth. They’re blinded to who they’re looking at today. I’m still the same Alice. I just don’t do the things that I used to do and I’m not focused on the life that I used to live and I don’t hang with the people I used to hang with we neither do we text or make phone calls to each other. We’ll see each other for timeline and we’ll say hello to each other every once in a while, but I don’t live my life based on the tactics of what they have going on now on me for the first time in my life I have given God everything and he’s giving me everything back so if I’m grateful and showing complete humility, I would say that my recovery journey started with him and it’s going to end with him. Good night guys. Remember if you need me inbox me and I got you.
