Today I’m grateful for waking up, there’s a lot going through my mind but I’m alive to work out those issues. I’m grateful for my sponsor who helps me see things in a way I didn’t see them before. I’m grateful for my kids who love me no matter what. I’m grateful that I’m clean even, though I almost messed up I withstood temptation. And most importantly I’m grateful to my higher power for helping me to realize all these things and more, and for slowly guiding me to the path he wants me to take and to find his will that I might find peace in this life, so that I don’t rush to the finish line.
