Gratitude

I am grateful for my capacity to love and be loved.

I am grateful for my job which let me cut out today while having a tough time.

I’m grateful for my daughters and my pups.

I’m grateful that I did not wallow in self pity. I made good use of my time by doing my taxes.

I’m grateful that I have people to reach out to who accept me where I’m at, and make me know that I am enough.

I’m grateful that I can find optimism, grace and humor even in dark times.

I’m grateful you’re here Craig. One of the most important things to learn in sobriety is how to handle our feelings when we are not feeling well. Staying grateful, and reaching out for help is part of living in the solution. Going to meetings, and working the steps is living in the solution. Helping others, which you do on here often, is living in the solution. We are the fortunate ones my brother:pray::peace_symbol:❤‍🩹
