Gratitude

Is an action word, I can show my gratitude by how I treat myself and others. People can say they are grateful but how are they acting?

Generally I hate "gratitude lists". There is almost nothing more barftastic to me than a generic list of shĂŻt that someone waxes on about being great for. Generally they sound canned. No thought at all. Just super generic stuff. What's wrong with one or two simple things that you can show gratitude to, in more than just lip service on the internet. Greatful for nature? Get your a$$ out there and pick up some trash on your street. Grateful for the bus driver waiting for you to get on the bus because you're a poor manager of your time and you ran late, holding up the whole bus? Tell them how grateful you are!

Walk the muthertruckin walk.

Gratitude list are helpful for people for a perspective change, staying the course, not letting negativity creep in. But yeah, the rubber hits the road with how you are actually “living the program” not how you talk the program.

Ok

Yeah, I mean I get it, it helps put things in perspective. But I mean if your just word vomiting gratitude for every little thing around you that doesn't suck are you really appreciating those things or just going through motions.
