Gratitude

I'm grateful that my anxiety didn't prevent me from answering texts and calls from my friends and family to wish me happy birthday.
I'm grateful that I can deal with the attention that comes from people when they know it's your birthday, instead of feeling so uncomfortable that someone is giving me attention.
I'm grateful for a sober birthday, probably my first since 8th grade.
I'm grateful I can be there for my friends who need me.
I'm grateful for my new recovery coach position with Coulee Recovery Center going into the emergency room to assist in helping addicts, who have just overdosed or had a drug related emergency, with their journey in recovery.
I'm grateful I was trusted enough to give a mom a much needed hour break to go to a meeting while I got to watch her 4 year old twins. I'm also grateful for the kids to be comfortable enough with cuddling next to me on the couch while watching cartoons on rmy phone.
I'm grateful for my roommates putting time into making gifts for me. One made a cake and the other knitted me a blanket.🥹
I'm grateful for the benefits I receive from state insurance and a county program that gives me an entire network of professionals working with me, as well as private sessions with yoga instructors, music therapy, equine, etc. etc... All devoted to helping me succeed in life.
I'm grateful that I am gifted with experiencing life today, no matter how depressed I am.

Happy birthday :birthday:. I hope you beat the depression right out the door soon, I know how it feels.

Happy birthday bro. When we are thankful for the smallest things we see life in color instead of black and white. Great job man, keep it up

Yes, abundantly blessed!🏄‍♂️👍
