My uncle passed away from alcoholism at the age of 65.
Im lucky i was able to see him this past Wednesday at the hospital but he was unrecognizable and very ill due to years of heavy vodka drinking. Weird thing was i was at a AA Meeting that i didnt wanna go to today due to being tired. Got a text telling me he passed. So thankful for my health and sobriety.

I’m so sorry for your loss.
You made the right choice; and you can live a sober life. I always knew I was going to stop, just didn’t know how. Thank God for treatment. I’ve got 30 years now.
