Ive been sober for 4 years now. My best friend/sister just earned her 90 day chip...with that being said she looks up to me for advice in this journey (yes she has others...but im her closest near and dear). Earlier this week she spoke concern for the well being of her father (also a addict). Because of his declined mental health and addiction she did NOT want to call the sheriff's department for this. So I volunteered to go over there. And it didnt end well. No matter how much i knocked no answer. After further evaluating I called the sheriff's department to legally enter the home (with her permission). At the end of it all it was found that her worst nightmare was a fact. I watched her break tonight and i tried my best to bring her back to the positive and to god her steps but i need help in this i do not want her to backslide. Based off of what i seen she very well might...what can I do to protect her in this situation if any??
