Heavy heart and vulnerable I need to use this platform to share my experiences to help myself and maybe someone else cause I know I am not the only person who struggles this struggle.Letting go and laying my pain down and surrendering to the my ego(brokenheart). My God is Jesus Christ his word are so clearly spoken into my life I can’t deny him, for months I have been fighting to let go of my past a past that doesn’t serve me hasn’t for years. I can’t let go of fear it comforted me for so long. Fear isn’t so comforting now it literally the essence of mental illness at its finest. Everything and everyone in my past is literally dead. I grieve the love I had for them and mostly that love I showed myself. As a sober woman now I struggle with what love should look and feel like. I know how loved I am there’s a big difference. The past 3 years has shown me what Gods love is, what unconditional love is, and how unbelievably uncomfortable it is to love myself with out being to prideful life has always been black and white grey never existed until I became born again and sober I see life as a rainbow I can do anything and feel anything it’s all ok I am human and I trust my creator he hasn’t done me wrong. I talk to many woman and men in and out of recovery and with other spiritual and religious beliefs I listen more and it’s really AMAZING the journey we take to get out of our old ways of loving and trusting ourselves, a higher power and others. This couldn’t have been better timing for me to have shared what was shared with me. My life is new it’s evolving into something I do believe I am ready for because I trust God with my pain,my grief, my life, and today! I pray over all who struggle with grief and illness that you lay it all at his feet let the lord take your pains he has made you resilient.God said one day it will all be gone no pain, no grieving, no illness God you gave me life and sobriety with the opportunity to recover when I least expect it but you heard my prayer and listen. Give my heart and mind and my friends and family’s peace of mind as we wait for what you have promised for us In your name I pray Amen!
