Sunday I bought a small plant that I keep on my desk. Im hoping it grows alongside my journey. Its supposed to grow to 2 feet tall. 3 more days til 2 months sober. Yesterday a friend who i havent heard from in years, had no clue about my story contacted me and I told him everything. He said he was 8 months sober and fell off, now currently working on 6 months. He invited me to the AA meeting he attends weekly. It will be my first meeting. We also talked about getting together to for a stroll or bike rides on the trials in our area. Its amazes me how God works. People come into your life at times you might need it and you might not even know.
