Had a dream I was drinking again whe I woke quickly realized it was just a dream
These used to bother me
Today I felt good knowing I’m still sober and I didn’t drink

I’m 7.5 months sober and the therapy group I go to says this is very common. I’ve only had 2: one where I wasn’t drinking and 1 that I was. I know it can be triggering. Discussions are ongoing about just pushing through it and staying busy throughout the day. That’s helped me. Just take deep breaths and try to put it out of your mind as soon as possible. You’ll make it!!!

I have had a completely alternate life in my dreams. I was never sober. Always hid my drinking. The dream picks up where it left off. 38 years sober.

Yeah even after 16 years of solid sobriety I still have drinking dreams every now and then. Mostly horrible nightmares and some fun ones once in awhile.
Always glad to wake up sober.
