Had a wonderful week last week. Got a new job I start on Friday. I am searching for an apartment that I will hopefully obtain in the next few weeks. Two days ago I launched my own shoe line. The first pair are up for sale online which is a great feeling. It’s all a wonderful feeling I’m having right now, since 5 months ago I decided to quit my jobs and put myself in rehab now a residential treatment center. I told myself I wasn’t going to rush back into work or anything and was a great idea. Now I’m sober and chasing my dreams. 5 months ago I would never imagined any of this. Do I have urges and thoughts about using yes. Do I have random dreams of using yes. But I also have a network of sober friends on here and outside of this app who are my number 1 fans who help me get through those thoughts. It’s never easy for someone who suffers from depression, ptsd, and anxiety to deal with certain things, but these amazing people who never judge me help me every day. You know who else helps me every day that person who is on day 15 and is struggling as well. Or that person who is just coming back. You all inspire me especially that person on day 1 who has that determination and fight in them. It makes me not lose mine. Thank you all really.
