Had and old using buddie msg me today and ask if I want to get a coffee with him I don't want to be rude but I don't want to go back to that life style

Maybe they are clean have you asked? You have the right to know if they clean or not. If not just tell them when you get clean and see at meeting then ya we can have coffee (at the meeting)

That’s never good. You don’t owe anyone access to your recovery if it puts you at risk.
Protecting your sobriety is never rude, it’s necessary. Your life today is worth guarding with everything you got.

U can protect ur sobriety it depends on you for take resources an use ur phone if u feel a craving but u don’t have to hide ur self from the out side world

@nikki365414 ... Don't do it by yourself. If you do it take someone with way more sobriety than you have with you. Your sobriety comes first. Protecting it is not being rude.
Do not do it if he was a friend he would want the best for u and that means cutting off all old using friends it's that somple
