Had anyone else lost friends?
I’m not talking about removing them from your life because they still drink. But because you ruined your reputation? I said thinks drunk I never think sober that were disgusting and not reflective of how I truely feel but I just get “drunk words are sober thoughts”

Hi Mike, I lost quite a few friends while in active addiction. I started over in sobriety with making friends, now many of my friends have never seen me drink and will never have to experience that skin that I shed.
