What’s so crazy is that those days I was so happy I didn’t even think about drinking I was so totally content. And then all of a sudden I don’t know what happens? Can anybody relate to this?

Terri. Been there done that. I understand. Get back on the path and keep on trying. Or as they say “fake it till you make it” I am 11 days sober now and although not a cake walk, so worth it.

When we fall, that’s called life, but when we get back up on our feet, that’s called living. We’re with you buddy.

Yes for sure! I went about 8 months and thought I could control it. One day I was fine the next was drinking after all that time and didn’t stop again for a year. Drinking daily…. I’ve on started recently again and I’m on day 7. Hang in there!!

I am a repeat relapser. Comes out of nowhere…one day your fine and the next you’re bombed. I’m almost 8 months sober again. I never gave up…ever. Once I start I can’t control my intake. I never drank with intention to get drunk out of my mind but I always did because im an alcoholic. Alcoholics have no self control. Getting sober was extremely painful for me but I white knuckled it through because I still had enough fight in me. Hang in there and never give up. Sometimes a relapse is a rude awakening…it opens our eyes a little more and we get back up and try again

Thank you. Sometimes I just don’t understand everything’s going good and I’ve got sobriety and then I just go get a little bottle of wine and say what a little teeny bottle of wine’s not gonna hurt and then within three months I’m in crazy again. Thanks for your input

You got this babes! Relapse can be part of recovery, it is for me

Be proud of the vulnerability and drive to get clean. You got this, as long as you keep at it.

One day at a time. Learn to live without alcohol. It's possible you did 3 days.
