Had to put one of my dogs down yesterday, 12

Had to put one of my dogs down yesterday, 12 year anniversary today of my brother taking his own life, random court battle with daughters mother after 11 years of zero issues, still rebuilding after our business caught fire in February, crazy busy at work, economy issues that we are all feeling and still not a drop in over 3 years. We all have are issues and life is a revolving door of them. Being sober allows all of the feels which helps me process the good/bad/ugly much more clearly and quickly. We are all doing the best we can with what we have in front of us, keep moving forward:)

Thank you for sharing and most of all good job for reaching out and getting that off. It’s a lot to handle and process on your own.

Great message Jeff. Life does keep happening, regardless of whether we choose to be sober or not. As you say, being sober allows you to process it all and keep moving forward. The serenity prayer, and living life on life’s terms came to mind when reading your post. Thanks for sharing your strength and hope with us my brother :peace_symbol:

I have had random court battles with women jealous of my sobriety out of the blue as well.

Odd thing she is sober as well. Maybe jealous of my success since being sober🤷‍♂️ it’s tough bc my daughter really looks up to her and overall she’s a great mom, deep down just a bad person.

Sorry to hear that dude. I had a narcissistic out of state stalker who tried ruining my life after dating her friend for a few months just before the pandemic started.
