It’s been almost 45 days and it’s been a whirlwind. Between truck issues, getting COVID, and a level of work that wanted to make me collapse at times, it’s been a stressful 40-ish days. But, I powered through it and there is no way that I’d have completed the amount I have with alcohol in my life.
The danger for many of us is painting a bullish!t portait that we had great times while using and forgetting how bad the bad times were. If it were that good, we would have never quit in the first place.
Thankful for an awesome sober network, a lot of self motivation, and keeping focused on the bigger picture. More and more great things to come ahead.
