Happy Memorial Day sober family. I’d like to honor all the veterans and first responders for most but I’d also the to present a thought. It’s a good day for us to remember how miserable it was to when we were using, the demoralizing effects of our use, lost relationships, the chaos, the withdrawal, the problems with the law, the constant fear, lack of any form of self love, just to name a few. Remember we are the few that have the self recognition to get out of the misery. We are strong, we are heroes, we have the ability through our experiences to save others. Give yourself some recognition and continue on one day at a time. May your higher power give you peace and joy!!
