Being sober is the best thing I've done but it has cost me different relationships in my life and I was sad about that but now I'm just over it. I have had this 20 yr relationship with an alcoholic and I just don't care anymore, I can't love him anymore and I don't want to. I have tried and waited and hoped and its just not a thing.
Have any of you had to just end relationships because you are sober. It doesn't make me tempted to drink ever. I live-in a house with alcohol here 24/7 it's because I am just sick of the mess.

When I got serious about being and staying sober I had to remove the things that threatened my sobriety and a handful of people were on that list.
