To the unsung heroes that guard our land. I salute you with this:
A Thankful Heart
In fields of valor, where shadows loom,
Brave hearts arise, defying doom.
U.S. Veterans, with courage bold,
Self-sacrificing, stories untold.
They stand as shields 'gainst night and day,
Putting nation first, come what may.
Through storm and silence, watch they keep,
Guarding freedoms while others sleep,
For every scar, a debt we owe,
In their honor, our liberties grow.
We live unbound, pursue our dreams,
Thanks to warriors, or so it seems.
Eternal thanks, from sea to shore,
Your selfless service forevermore.
In grateful hearts, your legacy gleams,
Heroes eternal, in freedom's beams.
