Love to be your friend ! I think this app is based more in the states though . I am in Canada
Thank you so much, and best wishes to you as well!
Thanks Scott. I for sure am experiencing some painfully sad ends of some friendships(or pauses in friendships I hope) but I am lucky to find some pretty cool people on here as well. New doors open every day.
Hi Shawn! Thanks, I sent you a request. I’m still figuring out how this app works, but I’m glad to meet you!
me too! i’m in a relationship of eight and a half years. it’s so annoying. i’d love to be your friend! i have no friends lol
I know! My boyfriend if 3 years is amazing and so supportive, I’m so grateful for him!
And, now we are friends!
I’m also trying to meet more women in sobriety!!
Try looking for hobby or exercise groups or churches in your community you could attend.
I feel the same way. It’s lonely going sober…
I know a lot of what you're going through. My real friends that aren't addicts and meanwhile never have time for me and I'm feeling a little bit alone about it too so I guess we're not alone. I know I'm not boring LOL I'm one of the funniest people I know but I'm also going through a breakup and could use some good friends as well if you need anybody to talk to I'm here
I feel the same way! This app is great but haven’t seen any people in my area, Orlando, Florida. I became single about six months ago and honestly don’t have friends. I have people I keep in touch with, but no one I spend time with. I have tried to become more involved with AA and keep busy.
Vanessa, you are amazing. Keep going and the people that matter don’t mind and those that mind don’t matter (thanks Dr. Seuss
I can totally relate...
Try Women for Sobriety. Positive messages- supportive people. Face to face groups are limited but there are zoom meetings and chats.
I think this is why there are a lot of women’s-only meetings, at least here in Chicago. Hope you find some good friends!
That they do, if you know to watch for them. I wish you the best, and find some valuable and supportive friendships that will encourage you in this new phase of life.
