Everyone on here has felt the same way at times. That is why we are here. Just trying to help each other get through the day
Robert: I think that you’re talking about “life on life’s terms.” When I first got clean, I expected the world to acknowledge that I was in recovery and somehow “special.” In actuality, I had changed but the world was exactly the same. I’m subject to good, bad and indifferent. Don’t use no matter what. Thanks

Yes sir thank you and your right .
You’re in the right place, my friend!
Very true. I relapsed at the beginning of the pandemic, went to detox, pandemic so my entire recovery has started in pandemic so it was pretty easy. Then health issues and plenty of appointments “safe”. 23 months now and still bad health, hit with long haul Covid, but still no drinking. Life for me isn’t normal. Wonder if it will ever be. Haven’t been around alcohol, no family just avoiding it all now. Some family hates me and will not speak to. But my husband and daughter are here. I count on them and my recovery team, which is amazing, I help a few woman fighting the journey with me and have a fabulous sponsor. This has become my full time job and most of the time I love but still have those days. Sorry really venting. To your post just keep on keeping on. One day at a time, minute or second if need be.

Thank you for your comment and that's amazing
I hope you start to feel better !!!
