Has anyone done this without a sponser. I want a sponsor but doing my own Bible study. Every sponsor I know does 12 step. Can you have a support wo 12 stepprogram?
If you want to study the bible, you may want to join a bible group & get with someone who's been studying it. If you want to work the 12 steps, you may want to join a 12 step group & get with someone who's worked them. You can also do both.

Why can’t you do both? They seem like they would enhance one another and just make your recovery that much stronger.
I thought the hole idea.was to learn from other people about alcohol. The temper .com pleas look it up.
