Has anyone else become a workaholic in their recovery? I find myself working all of the overtime I can these days so I stay outta trouble and stay productive. I worry that if I stop working so much and try to enjoy my time off, I may give in to my vices.

Side effect of getting sober and being young and full of energy. Tons of energy you kept pent up all those years using comes full force. Just keep that sobriety front and center and enjoy all that extra mulla you’re earning. Another reward,

Yes I been working a lot more I don’t know maybe because drinking was taking a toll on me had no energy before

I just seem to have all this energy and I wonder if I’m misusing the time? Like I’m replacing one thing with another. My father in law did the exact same thing. He’s still doing it 20 something years later.

I'm still doing it 30yrs later :wink:
But like k.bradford r said. Rewards are great. If! You take time for it once in awhile
