Has anyone else had the Vivatrol shot? I got it in July and I was fine afterwards.
I got my second shot Tuesday and I feel like death. I had a migraine yesterday, body aches, nauseous, etc.
I’m just curious if anyone here has had a similar experience.
Have you contacted your Dr. I got the shot this month with no side effects. I hope I don’t have any problems next month when I get it again.
I did and it’s apparently common. Was this your first shot?
Yeah, I use to take Camppril, and Antabuse in pill form daily.
Sounds like it triggered a PAWS reaction. That can happen if you use even a little in the days leading up to the shot. I’m not saying that’s the only thing that will make someone feel that way.
I was fine with the first shot. This second one has me all sick. Ugh.
I haven’t had a drink in 66 days so I have no idea why this time I had a reaction.

I had two shots. It worked well for me. My issue was just the apathy it caused and total loss of interest in sex. I was due a shot last week. I decided to go it on my own.
