Has anyone else lost a loved one during their sobriety? Lost my mom back in June last year and it’s continually tested my sobriety. I’ve yet to give in but it can get be hard.

Grief is never easy to deal with. The push to escape it is powerful. I'm glad you haven't give in yet. What do you do to escape the urge to use when it rises?
I lost some one 4 years in to sobriety.and my father.growth in spirituality has help more then any thing.
It get so much better.staying sober.

Remember the tools they taught us in treatment and we reached for that bottle. We were trying to escape and numb out. You're so much stronger than than that my friend; we're stronger together 
. When you're feeling low or having moments of weakness look in your notebook/binder that should help remind you of where you came from and why you began this journey. I believe in you- you've got this:hugs:
