Has anyone had a bad time with the medicine acamprosate calcium? It’s made to curb alcohol cravings some it’s made me really sick.
I’ve been taking it for about a month now. I do t feel like it’s done anything negative. But I’m sure I notice anything about cravings. I still feel like if I’m ever left to my own devices, I’ll probably drink. But I’m more of an opportunity binge drinker. So I have no real review on that drug.
It’s made me really dizzy throwing up all the works I won’t be taking it again it feels worse than a 3 day bender
I had the same reaction and my skin nerves were hyposensative I felt like I had a piece of hair running across my back and it actually hurt bad all over . I was given 3 meds for nausea and after 6 weeks I gave up on the drug . I hope that you get to feeling much better soon and hopefully you don't have the hypersensitivity . That's the worst feeling even worse . 🫴:dizzy:
I’m just really out of it but can’t sleep and tingly I just took some Nasua meds I hope this feeling goes away soon it’s miserable

What I kept in mind was that it's not going to last forever it helps a lot knowing that
You know I also learned that if I kept myself busy or would just go on a walk it helps too. It's when we stay in bed that we really think about how bad we really feel . Also chicken soup just sipping on it helps nausea . My mom's a nurse and I learned this when I was going through the nausea from that med also keep yourself hydrated in any way you can

Sorry I was talking on the phone . You should eat something sounds to me like your sugar is low . And if you're Dr doesn't know how your feeling is give them a call . Also Benadryl helps with dizzyness from other drugs . Plus it'll help you sleep .
Just remember it's not going to last forever
