Going on 11 years single, just hit 10 months. The singleness of it doesn’t get easier.

I enjoy my special guy but I have to live by myself. It's harder for me to maintain sobriety in a relationship. I almost had a year and we decided to celebrate new years eve. Well that lasted six months for me unfortunately. It is lonely sometimes and I'm sorry you feel that way. I'd rather be lonely than in the wrong relationship or abusive or codependent relationship. Thinking of you. Hang in there!

It would be nice to have someone around but when I think of dating I just dont want to deal with it.

I was sober 14 years.before meeting some one.dose not happen overnight.

Congrats on being 3 years sober.

There's beauty in being single. Enjoy it. If being in a relationship is that important, write a list of what you want and need in a SO, and work on being your best self for your SO.
