Havent considered drinking until in the airport after being told as im dropped off by the girl i thought was marrying me that we are finished! The old me it woulda been from cheating or alcohol related reasons but this time i really tried my hardest to treat her like i loved her! Getting back into daily workouts after meditating and i found a new yoga im getting into. Soooo maybe that was the reason? Crazy that someone could show love one day and just go missing the next

Sorry you’re going through that just remember that your recovery has to come first
I think most just need to work on themselves and not hurt the ones that love them the most. This isnt the first time but it will be the last
Sometimes there isn't a specific reason, my mom's ex husband quit drinking and was sober many years and at the end it still didn't work out. I don't know if it's better/helpful but at least this way it was before the wedding so there won't be a messy divorce later?
For sure girl! I was about to move from texas to Connecticut to truly be together too… so it could have been way worse
