You don't have to figure out how to live the rest of your life without alcohol today. You just have to decide not to drink today……easier said than done but stay in the fight.
Don’t worry about fighting tomorrow’s battle….take it one day at a time.

Just take it one day at a time go to meetings if you have a sponsor reach out if there’s anything I can do lmk

Make a quick list of all the reasons of why you stopped drinking. Adjust your crown and slayyyy today Queen! Go for a walk, buy a latte or smoothie, take a drive and geocache, find something healthy to do today that can keep your mind busy. Just for today. You’re stronger than you realize. You got this

I was at the point all I knew or done was drink. It was my breakfast,lunch, and dinner. I know it’s hard because alcohol was something I always turned to so I could function, just scrape by on my bad days . It will do to you what it did to me and take anything and everything you love away. Being sober is way harder than I thought it would be but 2 months in, and slowly but surely it’s getting better. My brain fog is still there but I can tell it’s lifting. Now I just need to find something besides alcohol for the anxiety and depression spells. I’m exactly where you are in the struggle. Hi Kimberly. How are you feeling today? How sick are you of all the cliches? It use to drive me crazy but after over 7 years of recovery without a relapse I use them for everything. There is history and wisdom in some of these phrases. I liked the response from your first message. You really don't need to figure it all out now. You've got a lot of places to go but only worry about how you're going to get to the door. Prayers for you.
