Having trouble with faith over fear. Have a court date

Having trouble with faith over fear. Have a court date coming up and most of us know that feeling. I want so badly to push out the fear and just trust God that He wont oit anything on me that i can't handle. The thought is there, but in my heart it's worry and fear. My mind keeps thinking and the pitted feeling in my stomach. Anyone have any pointers on how to squash these feelings? I dont want to fool myself with the thought that the outcome will be what i want, i just want to overcome fear and worry. Thanks y'all!

Man ain't got no advice for you I go to court and my stomach's turning the whole time every time like I say is good luck buddy

Read Isaiah 41 ,13 14 for the LORD your GOD is with you my brother and friend give it to GOD have trust in him. Sometimes we rethinking is bad :-1:deep breaths it's going to be fine wants you stop worrying take care

Having fear of other then the most High is a sin. Let's start there, and if u put yourself in that situation, as a grown up you have to deal with that situation, and you ask your higher power to make it easy for you in the current situation or the outcome of it.. Hope that helps you sir.

Going to court is part of recovery for so many of us. It is clearing up our pasts. Sweeping our side of the street. No matter the outcome, settling up with our past will benefit our future.

And I had 3 court cases and 3 CPS cases in the first 9 months of sobriety. I was anxious too but it helped me to see how it fit into my program.

I always say that I’m pretty sure that I’ll never end up in handcuffs again as long as I stay sober.:stuck_out_tongue:

Trust God and I would say don’t pray for an outcome. Pray for peace, comfort, and a healthy attitude regardless of the outcome.:slightly_smiling_face:
