Awareness, prayer, sense of humor
Just reading everyoneâs thoughts on this has helped me. Thank you for asking for help with this, Rhonda. I have similar issues of playing out past conflicts or arguments in my head and inserting things I wish I would have said and getting myself so worked up I say things out loud sometimes and hope no one heard what I just shouted to myself. Being immediately aware when my mind climbs aboard this replay hamster wheel and cutting it off before it gets going is positive. Being aware of it is positive. Therapy helps.
Prayer and understanding that what people think of us is none of our business
Itâs said if we have wars going on inside of us, we will have wars going on around us with others. Whatever hurts or wounds youâve experienced will need to be dealt with and looked at differently and worked through. If it was childhood abuse, or trauma, it was not your fault! If it was adult stuff, choices you made forgiving yourself is the key and thatâs not easy. God will help you through it. I hope you have a faith that you can turn to.
