Hello all,
Reached 6 months sober today from alcohol. It's definitely been an interesting journey to say the least. The last 3 months have been the most trying of my life. Some mistakes have been made by my VA healthcare team. I do not blame them as they were doing what they thought was in my best interest. I have been suffering from worsening depression and panic. I fell into serotonin syndrome last week and had to go into the hospital. It was at that time I pulled myself off all medications except for my BP meds. Today is one of the first days I've woken up feeling hopeful and seeing a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I really appreciate all the stories and positive thoughts on this app. Much love to all. And just remember, one person's recovery is not the same as others.
