Give it another shot... Try multiple meeting and find one that feels right to you. Just be open and listen, you don't have to accept it all in at once.

There is someone in my refuge recovery group from your area of Florida. You can do it. This is a great place for contacts on accountability.

Message any time! The meeting ap is great to find a meeting (the chair one) and so is the everything AA ap to get some reading or listening in.

Try and make those meetings, and try your best to open up, usually before or after meetings. We always congregate. And collect some phone numbers. Any of us are willing to answer any time of day, or night. This what keeps us strong and uplifting, because only we know what it's like to maintain our sobriety. You need to sometimes feel uncomfortable to allow yourself to get a little comfortable!
