Hello everyone! I am new to Loosid but not new to sobriety. In March I had a quiet, personal celebration marking 38 years.

I joined Loosid with the intention of sharing my story and perhaps giving hope to anyone who relates to my journey.

Getting sober was the absolute best thing that I have ever done for myself. Sobriety has given me the opportunity to have genuine life experiences and to approach my true potential as a human being.

I am not a wealthy man in terms of money, but I feel rich in just about every other way. I am forever grateful to AA and to everyone who, intentionally or not, helped me along the path.

Sobriety is not easy. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you need help.

Well as you know, the person who woke up earliest today is the person with the most recovery. Yet you present a shining light in what could be to others. Thanks again.
