I suffered from a nasty opiate/Xanax addiction for about 20 years, 2 years sober from that on Jan 1st.
Been struggling with alcohol though. I suffered a huge family lost this month and I started drinking heavier to deal with it. But it’s like I hate it so much……grief and anxiety. Received some new medicine to help with the anxiety that I can not drink on but have.
It’s just been a tough few months coming out and losing some very close friends because of it.
Just trying to get help and support from others dealing with same poison I deal with!
