Hello everyone, just found this app. I am 18 months sober and my wife left about 6 months ago. It has been sad and weird not participating in the normal traditions with my wife’s family (even though I missed most of them over the last few years so I could stay home and drink). I definitely don’t have the Christmas spirit this year. I will make the most of it. For the kids, my wife did come over this morning to watch the kids open there gifts. It wasn’t as bad as I thought would be feelings wise. Merry Christmas everyone.
