Hello everyone, my name is Kobe Poitra, I’m 20 years

Hello everyone, my name is Kobe Poitra, I’m 20 years old and I relapsed on THC again, more specifically I got addicted to delta-8. I am 22 days sober today. I’ve had good days since quitting, but I’ve also been having really bad days, especially recently. I guess I’m on here to ask if I’m alone in this battle. The anxiety gets really bad and I can’t control my emotions. Depression is starting to get to me. My only questions are does it get better? I’m I stuck like this forever? Am I still just trying to get these toxins out of my body? I smoked everyday right when I woke up to right when I went to bed. Going through at least a cart every day/day and half of delta-8 carts for ab a month. But I smoked weed in general everyday for over a month. Any one w answers I could really use some help.

First, no you are not alone. You do get better it just takes time. With THC you brain rewired the emotions and how they act. It can actually cause symptoms of depression and schizophrenia. It will take a while and a lot of work for you to rewire your brain. You may need to talk to a doctor about the issue of depression, they may have some idea on how to expedite the rewire.

I think you will get back to your normal self with time. THC being fairly mild compared to other psychoactive. I hope this will lead you to avoiding all other drugs in the future. I started with weed in my teens and didn’t get sober until my late forties, with multiple addictions… don’t be me.

Today has been a really hard day, constant chest pain because of my anxiety and I can’t stop crying every so often

I don’t think I have schizophrenia either, but I know my emotions are just uncontrollable right now. Does it even take longer than 22 days?

That is something that varies.
