Hello, im brand new here.. And would love to try to connect to some other individuals that are going through some of the same things that I am. I have zero friends. I have cut myself off literally from everyone to protect my sobriety. I live in a bad part of town that is infested with drugs or temptation to do it. So I've learned to shut my door off, stay to myself and pray. I truly truly do like the solitude but sometimes it just gets to be too much so I'm here and I'm open to any and all for friendships. I am a 42-year-old female. I live in Tennessee. I work from home and I'm just looking to make a connection or a bunch of connections either or as doesn't matter to me. For anyone that took toime to read this i definitely want to say thank you!!
You’re doing the right thing. Have you ever tried zoom meetings? They could also be a away to meet others in recovery, and help you stay clean and sober
Hi Wendy. Congratulations on your sobriety - it sounds like you’re taking it very seriously to protect it, hats off to you. Are you open to AA / NA programs? In person has helped me create a community - but perhaps online would help you as well!
