New here, no alcohol since New Year's Eve - it wasn't even a celebration, just my mind/body reaching for the familiar. Was asleep by 10:30 and didn't see in the new year.
Proud of myself, because also going through a break up (5 years) and haven't reached for alcohol although sometimes the thought creeps in - but I know that if I drink I will end up reaching out to the person I am trying to heal from. That would be disastrous.
Anyone have any tips for coping through a very rough patch?
