Hello ☮️

Hello Everyone, I'm new here
I've always had an issue with physical gathering cause I'm super shy in person.
I'm so glad I came across this app.

Zoom is another fantastic resource if you don’t want to attend in person meetings. Lots of fellowship there

Zoom is great for my busy schedule. But opening up is important to becoming a part of the meeting for me.

Hi Ginger
My daughter and I are here at her home in Muir Beach. If you are interested we can drive up through Strawberry and then down 131 to Belvedere on our way to Tiburon for a meeting tomorrow at 8:00pm. You can be our guest. No pressure. You don’t have to say anything, or you can just say “Hello I am Ginger and I am here to observe”. I understand the social anxiety. Zoom would also be a great place to start. You have a lot of support here. Whatever you decide just know that all of these awesome people here have been where you are right now. Your story is exactly or at least close to the rest of us.

Welcome Ginger. I too am not good in large social settings. Meetings give me terrible anxiety. This is a great site. Reach out anytime.

Hi Ginger. Check out In The Rooms(ITR) online, too. There are (Brady Box) AA Meetings around the clock on there with many other awesome recovery resources, too.

Keep on attending meeting and it will improve your social skills and culture will become part of muscle memory at some point.

Alcoholism and addiction brings isolation and recovery will improve social skills.
