Help keep loosid safe!

I love this app. Its an important part of my recovery daily ritual. The only problem is all the SCAMMERS that are praying on us with romance and financial scams. Here are some tips to stay safe:

1.) Keep conversations on the platform, do not hit them up on WhatsApp if they give you a WhatsApp #

2.) Be aware of grammatical mistakes, as the majority of these scammers speak broken english. (“How long have you been a sober?””This is first times I been on here” Ive actually received these exact messages.

3.) DO NOT share personal information with people you don’t know.

4.) Watch out if really attractive people message you out of nowhere and instantly express romantic interest in you or offer you a job. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

5.) If you suspect someone that’s messaging you is a SCAMMER , take a screenshot of the conversation and their profile making sure that their ‘@‘ id. Is visible and email it to support@getloosid.com

Help keep this a safe space for us all
I love all of you!! Stay safe, stay strong, and stay sober!!

It’s unfortunate and disgusting that people do this. Especially knowing a lot of people on here are vulnerable especially when in early recovery. I do have to admit that I did laugh a bit when I read #4 though. Thanks for sharing this though! Have a good night

Thank you for making this post. I appreciate the facts you shared. I totally agree with all you said. There is a moderator, Crissy, and she helped me when I was being sequestered by a predator.

I use Loosid daily and I hope all who are are here for the right reasons. I hope all stay safe and sober! Thank you, again.

Yeah, I’m friends with Crissy. She’s the one who instructed me on how to report a suspected scammer.
