Help ):

feeling normal sober . i dont think ive been totally sober since i was 14 years old . when does your nervous system go back to normal? when does your attention span get better? how do i go about creating discipline/routine for myself? its all so hard right now .

I haven’t been sober since I was 14 than became sober for a couple years than went back to it but the reason I quit the first time was just random I didn’t have a reason or anything. This time when I become sober I have a reason and it’s going to keep me sober not relapse again. Invite Jesus Christ into your life he will change you for some it’s instant others take time but you will get better.

Kayla, in my experience with sobriety, you get out what you put in. Initially I did the minimum and I struggled and was pretty miserable until I relapsed again and again. Then I went all in! Daily AA meetings, got sponsored, did the 12 steps thoroughly and helped out in anyway that I could.
Life got much easier and better. It’s so worth it!
