Never forget why you wanted help/ to stop. Have a good support network. Stay busy, but not too busy, with good sober hobbies.

First little bit of time will be rough but it will pass.

Remember: there is no problem that drinking wont make worse.

1 day adds up if you do it 1 at a time.

Just make sure you are ready to stop. Make sure you're not doing for anyone else. If so grab a sponsor and try the big book.
Congratulations on taking the first step , realizing you are powerless over alcohol

I’m on day 20 and believe me I did not think I would make it past day 1. I do everything possible to keep my mind busy. Meditation, hypnosis, meetings, journaling, listen to the audios on this app, read. YouTube has lots of bedtime stories you can listen to. I am also on Naltrexone which is also helping. Stay strong. There are many people on this app going through similar situations. We got your back!! :+1:

I took moment by moment to get thru my 1st week...I changed people and places...checked in this app.prayed.i am deep cleaning my place.went outside more...I am on day 9 and glad I stuck with it...you can also

Day 1 is the most important. Read the acceptance prayer it has helped me alot.

Use multiple tools/resources. I've been cycling back and forth from drinking and sobriety for 12 years, always trying to just "be strong". Make your recovery part of your new beautiful journey. I found meetings I love, I get the Vivitrol shot every month, do morning gratitudes, tons of self care, get on here every day and interact, have a support system... right now you are the most important, be "selfish" in a good way... love and take care of yourself, you deserve the best! You've got this, it only gets better and better :heart::heart:

Don't do it alone

Get pissed at ur addiction it's a lot easier to say f....u . Alcohol when ur pissed at at and stay that way us all those emotions as fuel

Keep pushing the days get better
