Hey everyone. I recently had my girlfriend kick me out of my house and bring home another guy whos a drug dealer. I got sober from alcohol about 3 weeks ago and now dealing with massive heartache over an almost 9 year relationship. Any prayers and support would be appreciated.

Damm man. That is rough. But the positive thing is you are getting sober. Keep on working you. Stay on track. Everything happens for a reason and life goes on. When one door closes another one opens. Keep your head up man

Congrats on 3 weeks sober Danny! I was kicked out of my house too! And then served papers for divorce about 2-1/2 months later…. Today is 777 days clean and sober. I’ve been making amends to the people I’ve harmed. Paying back debt to those I owe. Living and enjoying each moment at a time. Heartache sucks but finding out who I am sober is way better. God removes those that don’t serve us anymore. You going to meetings?

My advice keep it pushing, God first, then you, learn to be selfish in your addiction, no one or nothing can stop you. Turn up dont turn down. Have a heart and just pray for her and it will make you feel better. You know you best. #CleanTeam let's Gooooo!

Stay strong dude, work on you!! I'm in a very similar situation and while we are all different, sobriety is soothing my heartache and proving that there is a better path to turn down anyways!
