Hey guys just joined this community trying to find a space to talk to people who can understand what it’s like going through addiction/ recovering from it if anyone wants to be mutuals on here lmk
2 and half months sober from opiods
Congratulations on your 2.5 months of recovery:tada: Dealing with life without escaping thru substances can get very uncomfortable at times. Learning new coping skills to slow down the overthinking is very important. Are you involved in a recovery program? How have you remained clean and sober?
Welcome and congratulations on 2 and a half months
Congratulations
Hey Kayla
I am 5 years and 2 months clean from opioids I know it’s hard some days will be harder than others and even 5 years later I am still struggling at times but after about 6 months clean and clear from all the people that helped me destroy my life I eventually stopped thinking about it all the first 2 -3 years I was committed to N.A. my husband even said I swapped one addiction for the next but I eventually learned balance I HAVE DISCOVERED MY MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES WERE Definitely HIDDEN UNDER ALL THE PILLS I TOOK…I AM HAPPY TO BE AVAILABLE TO YOU IF U NEED SOMEONE TOT TALK TO
Good name keep staying alive today
Recovery is about supporting each other. Just remember where ever you go and what ever happens you don't have to do it alone
I used to survive now I live!
Yeah I haven’t had a slip up once this is the longest I’ve been clean the only problems I’ve been dealing with recently is just randomly wanting to lapse but usually when that happens I’ll shut off my phone I’m not involved in a program yet because I’m in between moving states so I wanna wait until I have everything finalized before looking into something
First of all, Kayla, congratulations on your clean time. Keep doing what you are doing,..I had to surrender EVERYTHING..5 yrs in , something clicked, it will for you too...keep grinding
Congratulations,I'm new to this platform myself. Got 7 and a half months clean after 44 years of active addiction. Sobriety is so worth everything I have to go through to keep it.
