Hey y’all!

Hey y’all!
I’m approaching 100 days of sobriety. Oof. It’s been the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. I’ve been really struggling these last few days. I’ve had some rotten luck with shitty doctors, so my meds are all messed up. I haven’t been able to take my Xanax when I’m anxious because I only have a few left. My lexapro has made it almost impossible to cry, which is usually how I express my emotions. So I feel like I have all this pent up grief & anger with no way to release it. It’s been making every single day feel like a battle. I’m trying my best to continue to focus on the things I can control, and to keep building a life I’m proud of. It’s just so hard. Really been having a hard time. Just so much trauma. So much shame. Ugh. Also, been experiencing a huge increase in appetite, which is scary because eating has been one of the few things I can control. Just a lot overwhelming me. I’m trying to do my best to talk about it & not keep it bottled up. Thanks for listening to me ramble.:yellow_heart:

Yeah but still, congrats. Hundred days is still hardcore :+1:

Just get your meds recalibrated and maybe switch from your Lexapro or a different anti depressant.. it's trial and error. I cant wait to get off all this pharma. The craving blockers and all the anxiety and depression meds ugh so bad for your liver as is drinking... But, I was getting dizzy for awhile in the mornings bc they also have me on tremor meds and nightmares/flashbacks .. I just want to be able to smoke a nice joint and read a book in a hot bath  I want to get there one day where I'll be completely satisfied with just that... I still have that annoying broken record in my minds background noise .. you can just have one to chill out and relax... But it's a trap. Congrats on your 100 :purple_heart: keep on keeping on girl. It will always be there... We aren't missing out.
