Hi everyone, approaching 90 days this week & this is around the time I relapsed for one day last period of sobriety. I’m trying my best to learn new healthy ways to deal with my feelings, etc. Anyone have any tips or things they do? Thanks everyone
Congrats on your 90 days! That’s terrific. I try to keep my mind as occupied as possible. Getting lost in a good TV series, music, spending time in nature. Those are some of the things that work best for me!
Nice job Ben! I like hobbies and stress relievers like exercise to help keep me focussed on what really matters to me. I've got a ways to go for 90, thanks for the inspiration!
Plan a mini vacation or adventure and plan to celebrate!
sounds cliche but it works, One day at a time
Also if you have a sponsor ask them or go to meetings more at this crucial point. If think that this is a weaker point then definitely do things to strengthen yourself in sobriety
Therapy has helped me to change they way I think about things and to deal with a lot of my own bs.
Pray a lot, call a close friend/family member you trust and keep busy. I suggest staying indoors so you arent tempted to find a place to drink, as a reward for being sober 90 days. If you can manage 90 days no alcohol, you can get through this little bump. One day at a time.
