Hi everyone. Had appointments with probation officer yesterday and he told me I had a positive drug screen. I am so worried because he said it was a violation and that I would have a warrant for my arrest, would have to go to jail wait to see judge. I have been doing good until this last month. I admitted I am powerless over this disease and getting back on track. Prayers that just gives me a warning and I don’t have to go to jail.

Thoughts are with you
I'm sorry but that is a violation and they will arrest you. I have never heard of anyone failing a drug screen on probation and not getting a VOP. At least here in FL and the bad part is they usually don't issue bonds so you can bond out on a VOP at least until your bond hearing. I've been in and out of jail and prison from 20 years of age to 33 years of age. Finally done with that stuff. I will be praying for you but I don't want you to be blindsided. Please keep us posted.
Hello Kerry, I've had this experience before and if you are honest with your probation officer unless you have one that likes to violate people just because. It shouldn't matter. As long as you are getting help. If not, then admitting you need help will at least tell them your trying to pull the wool over there eyes. If I were you, try and make a meeting and get a piece of paper signed and bring it to your p.o.
Breath and don't get yourself all freaked out. I think you will be good. Just let this serve as a reminder.
Hi Frank. I have been on zoom meetings all weekend ever since I found out from him I was positive. I’m kinda worried about another violation on Friday I took a test and could be dirty again. The fact of the matter is, I grabbed a sponsor and am admitting I have a problem. Please pray
that I don’t go to jail!!!!
I will pray for you in or out of jail. You are a good person with a disease. I attend AA by zoom every morning and we don’t shoot our wounded. The love and support is incredible and there are many beautiful powerful women in my zoom home group who who would be more than happy to help you. If you’re interested I can help you connect with them. Or you can find them in the intergroup online meetings list. They have several times a day but I go at the 7:15 Eastern time and it is always filled to the max because they are very good and effectively fununctioning. Look for Expect a Miracle out of Landsdale PA ( Philadelphia burb).
=American Sign Language sign for I Love You. I actually hear better on zoom because I am deaf but my hearing aids Bluetooth block out room background noise so well I get twice to three times more than face to face meetings.
Sending out a prayer now.
Would love to connect with them yes thank you Tony and thank you for the kind words and prayers!!
Sometimes they'll let u go on the first one , if your straight up with them and u haven't done it b4 , at least in Lackawanna County. Hope ur p.o sees it that way
I was looking at your photos Dan. I woke up in quite a few jail cells but I've never had to do any serious prison time. I've told my story several times in different prisons though. I just want to say that I'm glad you are doing okay and you're done with that old life. You look like you have a lot to be grateful for.
Thank you man, I do have a lot to be grateful for but as we all know, that isn't enough to keep us from using again. As long as I keep maintaining my spiritual condition and continuing to grow and keep it "green" I will stay sober, that is at least my experience. Every time I let up, I end up. Thanks again brother. Same goes to you as well.
Don't over think what was said...yes it's possible but your efforts won't go unrewarded. All have fallen... but we get up.. with help. I..we are your help. You are our help and you are needed so positive thoughts will bring positive results. Love you as I should...and of course my prayers will be for you..the probation.. and the judge.
Prayers for you. It will all work out
Prayers.. but yes they will put you in jail and without any notice.. I was in jail for 3 months before they sent me to prison.. then in a halfway house for another 2 months.. it was worse than prison.. but I got dried out.. from drugs.. that’s not the best way to get past it but it works
Yes we need more people like you!
