Hi everyone, i am new here. My name is Serenity, i have 14 months and 24 days today. The holiday season is a hard time for me because growing up, it was always so crazy in our household. And i am learning to love it again for my kids. I hope that you are all. Have a great holiday

Welcome to this community. Holidays are definitely different while in recovery. It takes time but you will get there.

Sounds like you're experiencing fruit of your labor. It can be overwhelming. I totally cry all the time on holidays.

And with both my parents being passed away within the last 3 years holidays bring up alot of emotions. So grateful that today I get to feel them and not hide and dumb them. Even when they hurt I am grateful.
