I’ve had the chance to read so many of your stories. Thank you for trusting this community with parts of your life that aren’t always easy to share. You probably don’t realize how much those posts have meant to me and so many others.
I’m 7 years sober.
For a long time, I believed addiction was the only thing that defined me. Looking back, I know that wasn’t true. I had accomplished things I was proud of, but I couldn’t see any of them because all I could see was my addiction.
That’s one of the reasons I appreciate this community so much.
Please keep sharing your stories. What feels like just another part of your recovery might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.
